Web developer

2017 July - Now

Freelance Web Developer

I had reached a point where I wanted to transition into a career as a web developer, and after months of self-study, I decided to take the plunge. At The Iron Yard, I learned all of the tools I needed to become a full-stack web-developer. I learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MongoDB, Node.JS and a lot more. And this is only the beginning, I plan to be an active learner and keep up-to-date with all of the most relevant technologies as I continue to work as a developer.

2015 - 2017

The Boba Shop Designer

I designed their website and all of the cup-labels, flyers, logos and the store-front sign for the Boba Shop in Spring, TX. I also maintained their website for two-years.

2010 - 2017

After graduating from Fashion Design school, I began working as a designer for several local companies. I designed the art and packaging used for wrapping cakes to go at Terrier Sweets Coffee Shop. I also sold some of my graphic-art on postcards at the same location. I also did work for several other companies as a designer, and have a lot of experience making websites.

About Me

I am from Taiwan originally, but I have been living in Houston, TX since 2013.  I originally became interested in programming while working as a graphic designer. The more I built websites, the more I was intrigued by the code that makes them tick. Aside from web-design, I’m also a Fashion Design major, and working on publishing patterns for clothes that I have designed is how I got into graphic design, and the greater world of web development.
